* Hosting and domain registration is included in all offers. A $50 annual fee for domain and registration (significantly less than going it alone!) is required. Domain name and all content on hosted server is property of client and not Alluring Media. Cancelation does not refund these fees.

** Sitelock includes a Content Delivery Network (CDN), monthly back up of your website, and malware scans.

Site customization is an additional charge which requires a contract and my hourly fee is $60.00 an hour with a 4 hour minimum. Most contracts last 12 hours but some have lasted weeks. We will consult clients with site plans on the best and fastest option at no additional charge.

So why WordPress?

WordPress is a significant part of the internet - in fact, over 35% of the internet is using WordPress (ref). You shouldn't use it because it's popular: you should use it because it's easy to use and free. There is plenty of documentation on the internet and support from hundreds of plugins that extend the functionality.

WordPress gives you, the client, the ability to edit the contents of your own site easily. You don't need to know code (that's my job) and you don't need to program anything. The setup is where most of the work is done when customizing a new site or redesign but you take over after that. A WordPress site gives you the power to write articles, manages SEO, display project or portfolio updates and even connect with others over social media.

This site is actually using WordPress and I am an active memeber of their community. I attend meetups and volunteered at WCUS 2017.
